9328 Grains of Sand, 2018
9328 grains of sand were individually separated in one sitting to represent each day I had been alive. The performance concluded by throwing water across the floor, washing it all away.
25 gallons of water was carried by hand from one tank to another to represent the milestone of turning 25 years old.

5 Generations, 2015
Spools of rope were unraveled to represent the lifespan of a woman from my family. Five generations from my mother’s side were alive simultaneously for a portion of my childhood.
Installation
Recorded audio was used to create a live audio feedback loop. An image of the night sky with the subtitle ‘[sleeping]’ was projected onto a transparent fabric. Blankets (and usually pillows) were placed under the projection to encourage audience participation.
